Meeting Life with Honesty & Courage: The Four Noble Truths
Online Daylong with
Vinny Ferraro
Saturday, September 26, 2026
10am-4pm Pacific on Zoom
Most of us know what it is to have something painful happen and then make it harder by not seeing clearly. During this daylong, we’ll explore the Four Noble Truths as a way to normalize and respond wisely to the difficulties of life. Part of that is learning how to accept what is happening without giving up our ability to act. The generosity of this teaching is that it doesn’t turn away from suffering, but it doesn’t leave us there either.
Each Noble Truth asks something of us: to understand suffering, to release the craving and clinging that intensify it, to discover what becomes possible when that clinging relaxes, and to bring the practice into every part of our lives.
The aim is not to become untouched by life, but to learn how to stay present and responsive when shit gets hard. Practicing together reminds us that we don’t have to find that way alone.
The day will include guided sitting, walking and eating meditations, Dharma talks and Q&A. This daylong is open to both newer and experienced practitioners. You are warmly invited to join us for the full day, or for whatever part of the day you are able to attend. Come as you are. No perfect people allowed.
